Delete episodes after watching for a managed user

Hi, I have been using the DVR feature for some months now and it’s working out pretty well. I have all shows set to delete after a day of watching which for the admin user works fine.

I have recently set up different managed users for different members of the family so that we don’t all share an “On Deck”. This would be way better apart from one issue:

It seems that it is the admin user that needs to watch a show for the “delete episodes after watching” logic to kick in? My plan was to pretty much not use the admin user. As it stands, it looks like I need to occasionally log into the admin user and mark as watched all the episodes that have been watched by other users? This is tedious and error prone.

Is there a way to get this working for a managed user too? Or I guess a plugin that syncs watched status from managed users to the admin user?

Looking for similar capabilities…I recently set up multiple managed users so we can have a personalized experience and list of content appropriate for each user. I’m using Labels to filter content for each managed user.

• primary Plex Pass user (doesn’t consume content, just manages account)
• Dad (guy stuff, hide wife’s soap operas and kids’ cartoons)
• Mom
• Child 01
• Chile 02

I’d like my wife’s soap operas to delete once she has watched them (for example) without having to go in as the admin user and manually remove them.

Would this be a feature enhancement request? Seems some additional capabilities for managed users would make sense.
