What I want to do is have a login for my wife and a login for myself that both have different on deck and continue watching sections that are based on our viewing history but still have each account/user/whatever be able to mark shows as watched so that the Advanced options for each show will deleted the show after a day or a week of being marked watched.
This is the verbage in the advanced tab on a show:
Delete episodes after watching
Choose how quickly episodes are removed after the server admin has watched them.
It states that only the server admins watching habits will allow for auto delete so I somehow need to make my wifes account an admin somehow? I have tried plex pass for multiple home users, and I tried a managed account but none of them seem to work.
Thanks for the help,

Server Version#: Version 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: Version 4.4.1
At the moment, no.
It is a very interesting idea and don’t see the plexteam being opposed to the idea.
I say create a request for it. Just check and make sure it doesn’t already exist. https://forums.plex.tv/c/general/feature-suggestions
Yeah I mean with them having multiple users per plex server with the plex pass it would seem that the auto delete being based on only one user seems a bit of a stumbling block. Even if they made it so you could assign a user to each folder that controlled the delete function that would be better than nothing. I could put all my wifes shows in one folder and make her the admin for it or make her the “delete person” whatever they want to name it.
Thanks for the info though I’ll put in a request and see if it gets anywhere.
Looks like its a 2 year old request that plex has ignored so thats a bit depressing, I’ll search around to see if any other media manager has a more robust set of options now since it seems that its not a feature coming anytime soon.
