I e tried to delete a few libraries and just keep one. But once I delete. They reappear instantly. How can I permanently delete them?
Maybe to start… how did you try to delete them?
This should do the job…
This is exactly what I’ve been doing. And immediately after I click defeat it briefly goes away and right back within 1 second. Does not work.
What operating system or device is your server installed on? Can you try optimizing database from server troubleshooting settings.
I’m using the lates macOS Catalina on one Mac and MacOS Mojave on the other. Both same issue.
I have the same problem, Mac OS Catalina OS10.15.4
I ended up deleting the server then re adding it and all movies again. So sad that theirs no easy way to do this. The delete library does not work! Plex needs to fix this ASAP.
Hi Truest1, Just by deleting the server application and re-installing?
No not the application it self. Look at image to give you an idea. Then creat a new server and ad movies all over again. Suck but only way I found to work. image|690x882
Thanks for the reply, but as you can see from my image, I don’t have that option- the Mac is locked.
That icon only means that you have a secure connection.
When a secure connection to a particular Plex Media Server is available, you’ll generally see a green “lock” icon next to the server name to let you know that it’s secure.
Before going completely overboard… let’s go through the steps you took to delete that library of yours.
@Truest1 – The picture you shared implies your server was actually down when you attempted to connect through Plex Web (http://app.plex.tv/desktop) → how exactly did you try to delete that library?
