Delete movie option

Hi

First i want to thank you all people that is working hard with PlexConnect!

I wonder if it´s possible to add a delet option to delete movies in Plex on Apple TV.

if  pressing the round button on remote then you mark a movie name, you get options to "mark as watched" and "mark as unwatched", is it possible to add  the delete option there?

I will add it to the features discussion but personally i cannot imagine it to be a high priority at the moment.

deleting from the ios and atv3 client  is an important missing feature! I cannot delete files from the server using the ios app or the ATV3 via plex connect. I know that those  using a jailbroken ATV2 with plex client installed can delete files from the server. Please make this a high priority item!

what does this mean? can a client like plex for iOS or atv3 via plex connect delete files from the server?

Another vote for adding a delete option to PlexConnect.

I think they are talking about the fact that you can delete a file from the plex web client.

How do you delete files from the server using a jailbroken atv2? I cannot find this option anywhere!  Please let us know!

+1 . Why? Because you are already in the Plex app and already have the movie that you want to delete in focus on your screen, and you want to delete it. Depending on where your server is, it may take a high level of effort to log onto it in order to delete the movie files. You may be on an external network with no way of getting directly to your PMS , or heck, you’re on the couch in the living room and don’t want to walk to wherever the PMS is to log on , browse to the movie file, and delete it.

Why not open the PMS port on your firewall pointed at your PMS host then you can log into plexweb and delete the file for now until if/when this is implemented into PlexConnect? You can also setup a ddns for an easy to remember ddns name using a site like:

https://freedns.afraid.org

Then you could log into it like so:
