I’m proposing a UI change that adds “Remove sync’ed item from this device” to the options when viewing an item in the library. This could be achieved by changing the existing sync button to work like the “Mark as played/unplayed” button, or as an extension of the drop down menu for each item in the library.

Currently to remove a sync’ed item you must go to Menu → Downloads & Sync → Manage → then find the item → Delete item. So the function that I want exists, but by adding the function within the item view it follows the existing UX.

I know there are other requests for offline deletion of sync’ed items etc… But this feature request is just to present the existing function in another UI location.

In this case I’m using the Plex app on iPad, but this would apply to everything that uses the Plex Sync function.

Keep in mind that to delete synced items you need to remove the entire sync job that put it there. Many users do not sync 1 file at a time so you can’t just delete them 1 at a time, hence why the delete option is only available in the sync menu, so you can delete the entire job without needing to go find each individual file.
