I deleted the server. Have re installed but the web app under "my media’ no longer recognises the media server. Instead has page isntructing to download media server!
I see it running in task manager.
How do I get the web app to see the media server once more?
Your server was removed from your user account. Which means you need to put it in again.

(Make sure both your web browser and your server have internet connectivity.)
I followed those instructions, and still no luck. I can see the Plex media server is running in task manager, but I believe it may be not operating as normal. I’ll need to investigate further
