Deleted TV Shows Not Immediately Removed from List

This one is pretty annoying to me, since I tend to DVR shows, then immediately delete them after I watch them…

On Nvidia Shield, if you delete any TV show episode, it continues to show in the list of Recorded TV Shows until you leave the Recorded TV view and then re-enter it. One would think that the library view would immediately update after a “delete” action.

Hmm… starting today, Plex on the Shield simply crashes and closes when I delete an episode.

EDIT May 18 2021: At least this crashing is not happening anymore. Two months later, however, deleted shows still don’t automatically fall off the list without exiting/entering that library again.

I’m experiencing the same issue as the original poster. I play something, then delete it, it stays on the screen I’m on until I go to a different section and then back again. For example, I delete something from “My Shows”, it stays there, but if I go to “TV Shows” or “Movies”, etc., then go back to “My Shows”, the item I deleted is gone.

Note that if I watch multiple things and delete them, they all stay showing in the list too.

This is a recent thing, it used to remove the items right away without needing to navigate to something else and back.

Note that this happens on both my Nvidia Shield 2019 and my TiVo Stream 4K. Both are running version 8.14.1.23548 of the app.

Same deal for me, 2019 Nvidia Shield Pro and Tubes (both) current beta plex app.

It is pretty embaressing that the app can’t accurately reflect what has been deleted in near real time. Plex management, get your act together!

This perhaps seems somewhat improved.

I’ve seen deleted shows actually disappear from the menu for the last day or two. It does then display an “Unable to Navigate, Item Missing” error, and the episode list seems to do some weird, twitchy constant refreshing – but it’s getting a little better.
