Differentiate between 1.0 and 3.0 DVR recordings

I currently have a HD Home Run with 2 ATSC 1.0 tuners. I am looking to upgrade to the 4 tuner Flex with ATSC 3.0. When setting up to record a show, how does the software determine whether or not to record using the 3.0 tuners? That’s assuming I have rescanned for 3.0 channels in my area.

Plex doesn’t have any special enhancements for differentiating ATSC 3.0 vs ATSC 1.0.

There are licensing issues regarding the Audio that have not been resolved, so if you do record/play an ATSC 3.0 station there will be no audio.
