For some reason, I’m unable to direct play a 4k movie within the first 3 seconds without it buffering on the Xbox Series X. Keep in mind, the video doesn’t even try to play it back until after 3-5min or so for only a split 1-2 seconds. The 4k video has a bitrate of: 62,501 kbps. Everything is hardwired which I find this very odd, given my current network/hardware setup.
For the Nvidia Shield I experience the same above. From my understanding, the Nvidia shield is supposed to be the top dog out of all the Plex clients, but what gives?
I’m uploading my logs for one, me trying to play the 4k file via Nvidia Shield and another for me attempting the same file via Xbox Series X.
Btw: For Xbox, I get a Playback Error while buffering, “An unexpected playback problem occurred.”
Any effort in helping me resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.
