Pretty much what the title says:
- When playing off the server - everything works great.
- Once trying to download - the download is very slow since it’s transcoding in the background ( I can see that after clicking the “Activity”-icon, on the HTTPS interface )
To clarify: I do not want to transcode. It takes time and I want the original file to be downloaded.
The file is 10bit x265 1080p.
If my phone can stream it, why can’t I keep an exact copy?
Is that the expected behaviour? Can I control it?
I’m an experienced user, but am clueless in this situation. This is probably isn’t something new ( no changes were made lately… I noticed it long ago, but just didn’t had the time to do anything with it )
Is there a line in the logs that mentions the reason? something like “failed to X, so going to transcode” or “transcoding due to setting: XYZ”
