Helly everyone. I’m pretty new to the plex universe and I’m just trying the live tv dvr function. Is it possible to disable time shift? I don’t use this feature. Another question would be how many minutes does time shift record? I don’t want to get all this data fill my hdd?

I’m running plex server on a small virtual machine and have to point out the transcoding folder to my NAS. I know, this is not the best solution but much better than use my expensive SSD storage to write trougth such much data.
I totally understand, that time-shifting is a nice feature… but why don’t give a possibility to switch it on/off or/and to configure the time. Or maybe set a size limit.
At this time plex does record the live tv stream from the time I start play and only deletes the files on the disk if I stop watching.
