Source list is blank in Belarus

It seems like there are two separate issues here:

  1. Some countries have streaming services that exist but Plex doesn’t seem to list them properly. This can be fixed by just going country by country and getting specific information (or changing the intermediary being used to get this information). My guess is Plex is using JustWatch and JustWatch just doesn’t support some countries.

  2. Given that you are in a country that, correctly or incorrectly, is determined to be unsupported, it makes no sense to subject you to a spam feature that you can’t use. So if you’re in an unsupported country, the Discover feature should not appear in Plex. You’d still have the first complaint, but your daily Plex use would be restored to what it was like before Discover.

Edit: this post was deemed off-topic. I’m not really sure why. The first idea summarizes many previous posts while adding reasonably informed speculation about the source of the issue. The second idea makes a suggestion about how to handle this issue going forward provided it’ll never be possible to fix it entirely because of the complexity of service detection.

Same here in Luxembourg, all common streaming services (e.g. Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix, etc.) are available (without VPN) but the list for selecting streaming services is empty on my Apple TV, and am getting the “No streaming services found for your region” on the web app.

Ditto

Same here in the Isle of Man - No streaming services found for your region! We have access to everything Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix, etc and yet the Plex App doesn’t pick anything up, this also doesn’t work on my server :frowning:

I am from Puerto Rico, any news on the fix for “No streaming services found for your region”.

Same here, I am in Jersey, in the Channel Islands. We have access to Amazon Prime, Disney+, Netflix etc but these aren’t showing in Plex.

This issue seems to be fixed for me in the latest update

Same in my region. Although all (or most) of the services are available for sure because I’m using them in dedicated applications on my smart TV they’re not showing as available on Plex. All I’m getting is blank (black) screen or I am returned back to previous menu on my Windows Plex application and on TV I’m getting notification that no streaming services are available on my location although they certainly are.

So is this something Plex is still working on since this feature is in beta or is this some kind of bug? I’d really like to have the ability to use this new feature because I think it is super useful!
So far I’m really enjoying “watchlist” and if “discover” would work as well Plex would be ultimate hub for all multimedia.

Same issue here from Luxembourg
“No streaming services found for your region”

Same here in Guyana

I get this message:

“There are no other streaming services currently available in your region: Bosnia & Herzegovina”

I have Netflix and HBO Max in Bosnia and Herzegovina, why can’t I see them in Plex?

I’ve got this message:

I would like to assure you that here, in Serbia we do have access to and can legally use all popular streaming services. Feel free to come over and see for yourself.

Warm regards,
Dragan

Same in Malta - it says no streaming services when as a minimum we get Netflix and Prime. Disney+ is to be officially available in July.

“There are no other streaming services currently available in your region: Ukraine. If you believe this is an error, please report it to the…”

I don’t believe it - I know it  Because in Ukraine, I can official and regular (without VPN) use Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Could you fix this error, please?

Thank you!

Same problem for Slovenia. In Slovenia there are many streaming services available: Netflix, HBO Max, Amazon, Apple TV, Google TV and from June 14, 2022 also Disney+.

I’m in California. No VPN running and for some reason Plex cannot load my region or show any local services (all major streaming providers are available here). I’ve tried on apple tv, iPhone, macos through browser. No luck getting strreaming services to show on any of them. Is there anything else I can try?

same in Luxembourg. We have the following available here without VPN:

  • Amazon Prime Video
  • Netflix
  • Disney +
  • Crunchyroll
  • Apple TV +

this is really frustrating me, you advertise this feature big and wide. I even installed the Beta just to get it and then I see that we (Luxembourg) and a bunch of other countries don’t have it. I know Luxembourg is a small country, but like everyone else I pay for Plex so I expect you get stuff like that in order, at least after the Beta.
