Discovery Feature Request: Hide Rentals/Purchases

I have only used this discovery feature today, I love the idea and I think it will likely be a strong point to get users onto the Plex platform. But there is one issue I am seeing with it. Discovery is lumping all of the Purchases and Rentals together with other streaming options.

Could discovery have either options to limit what is presented such as “Available” or “Purchase/Rental” or “With Ad’s”. I very much want to use this feature more, but the first several attempts I have run into shows that are only available with rentals, and that is not what I am looking for at all.

I have rented very few movies. Being able to by default see what movies and shows are included among all of my streaming services without additional costs that I have already paid would honestly make the Plex discovery feature my go-to search for shows above the one built into my Shield TV search.

I think you can already achieve that by disabling rent/purchase providers from https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/streaming-services – though that doesn’t cover movies available for rent/purchase with providers who also stream content (e.g. Amazon).

Agreed. I add a movie to my Watch list to be notified when it’s available to watch. I already know I could buy it.

At the least, “Available for purchase” should be separate for “Available for streaming” I just don’t need Discover to tell me the 15 sites I could buy it from.

How about alerting me when something comes on my streaming services, or if it’s NEWLY available to purchase. Otherwise, allow me to go to my full watchlist and click to see where I could purchase it.
