After the uninstall and reinstall you walked me through a bit ago, Plex doesn’t open at all. Only get this:

I will summarize.

  1. Arranged for private conversation via telephone.
  2. Walked through reinstalling on the new host and customizing the username PMS runs under via override.conf
  3. We then changed ownership of /var/lib/plexmediaserver to match
  4. Removed the old server from the list
  5. Started the server
  6. Came into the wizard. It saw a new server.
  7. Skipped adding new sections because the metadata and DB were already loaded
  8. Dashboard came up
  9. Signed into the Plex Home
  10. System online.
