I have my music playlists partitioned in a separate, pin-protected managed user so my family does not mess up my play counts or add/remove items from my precious playlists. The playlists are created from the managed account and are no way influenced by the admin account.
BUT as a managed user, I’m not allowed to upload a playlist poster (which works perfectly fine from my admin account, but I don’t want to use the admin account for music).
Is there any way to update permissions so managed user…
Bump. Not sure if this will get traction given the issue of custom posters not working for managed users is not what the title of the Feature Suggestion is…

Yes, if only we had a separate topic for this all this time, it could have been worked on!

This works from the main admin user of a server. The feature simply does not work for managed users. The image cannot be uploaded. I have enabled debug and verbose logging and received no useful messages.

Came back for my yearly checkin of bugs/features that haven’t even been acknowledged. For this one have not gotten even the courtesy of a response for 11 months, much less an acknowledgement that it’s an issue being tracked.
Custom posters for playlists was implemented, however it was not tested with managed users as it simply errors. See the previous threads for error messages or screenshots. I’m really not in the mood to redo error reports and screenshots because the forum here auto…
