DLNA on Ubuntu Linux not working

Suddenly (probably after latest PLEX upgrade) DLNA is no longer available on LAN. Has been working for several years now without problems. Server running Ubuntu 16.4

Tried disabling / enabling / reboot - but no change.

Suggestions on how to proceed debug??

Recommend you downgrade to a version which works with 16.04 because 16.04 is no longer supported ( expired April 2021 )

Thx. Have not seen any upgrade notes on changes to DLNA though, so cause is still unknown - and debug advice needed!

So - Ubuntu upgraded to 20.04LTS, Ubuntu firewall disabled, Plex reinstalled - same issue. No DLNA service.

What to do?

This was critical for streaming music to my Denon / HEOS setup - but luckily i found workaround as one of my HEOS devices support network-share setup…
