Dnssec problem

Server Version#: 1.13.8.5395
Player Version#: plex.tv

Today I stumbled on a rather strange problem, as it turned out on my local dns resolver without google dns as forwarder configured assets.plex.tv returned bad dnssec data and the domain therefor did not resolve, which made my plex unusable in any browser on my local network. Other domains just resolve fine, with or without dnssec. Since my provider does not support dnssec I resolved the issue by using google once more for all outbound dns queries. But I rather did not have to do that, these days one has to be careful with all of those so called ‘free’ services

Does anybody had this problem or perhaps know of a better solution? All I could see was that assets.plex.tv seems to be handled by cloudfare.

assets.plex.tv is handled at cloudflare. Make the exception and allow it or reconfigure . You’re DNS is too tight.

I was having more problems so I upgraded my dns resolver, I read somewhere cloudfare uses some combination of algorithms that are not always supported. It seems fine now.
