I’m new to setting this up, I’m trying to get my first Plex media server running. I’ve been having lots of problems connecting my server to Plex, I keep hitting a “Not Authorized” screen from the Plex web dashboard after I connect my server. I’m trying to diagnose what’s going on and I noticed I’m getting these logs:

403 response from GET https://plex.tv/api/v2/server/access_tokens
429 response from POST https://plex.tv/servers.xml
MyPlex: mapping state set to ‘Mapped - Not Published (Bad Response)’

I just got a Plex Pass subscription this week, and when I saw I was getting the 429 error, I waited 21 hours or so with the server stopped before trying again - same error again this morning.

I was hoping a staff member could clear this 429 error for me so I could continue to troubleshoot. I’d also appreciate any guidance on what my problem might be, if you’re able to identify anything. Thanks in advance.

I’m sorry to at you, but you’re the first employee I found that I could reach out to lol @BigWheel any chance you can help?

I found out the issue. I’m using a Hetzner server and Plex blanket blocks all Hetzner IPs. Just in case anyone finds this in the future. I’ll have to consider if it’s worth migrating to a completely different server or if I should just cancel my Plex Pass.
