I am building a website to keep track of my own media viewing habits (sort of a diary of media consumption if you will) and would love to include direct links to media (TV episodes, movies) from my Plex library into my site. That why, when I’m viewing a diary entry about a particular movie or tv show episode, I can simply click a link to launch Plex web player and watch that particular piece of media.
Other than the most generic and fragile way possible – copying/pasting a URL of a given media file from the Plex web player – is there any documentation out there are about retreiving and storing media file URLs from Plex? Thanks in advance!
