Been using Plex on a variety of platforms for a few years now without any real issues, and run everything from a server on my PC and also use Plex Cloud for some of my media.
There is one issue though that I’ve been living with for well over a year now and has persisted through many Plex server updates and the few PS4 client updates that have happened too.
Consistently the most recent Movie that has been added will freeze the PS4 client when I view the information page or try to play the film directly. This happens every single time.
If I add another movie to the Movie library then I can play the film with no issues. If I attempt the play the same film from an iPad/web/Amazon Firestick client it works perfectly. So the issue is definitely within the PS4 client itself.
Anyone else have the same bug? I’ve tried deleting the PS4 client and downloading it again and no joy. Every other piece of media plays back fine, it’s just the most recently added movie in the Movie library.
