Does Plex Have a Photo stream feature similar to Amazon's Photo screensaver?

Hello there everyone, I’m a new Plex user who has just set up my NAS and I’m really surprised to discover the limited features associated with photos after paying for an upgraded Plex Pass.

I’m wondering if anyone knows of any plugins or addons or if there is any future potential to the developers creating a way that we can view our family photos in a stream similar to the Amazon fire stick screensaver / photo stream (I’m referring to the one that has about 8 to 15 photos on the screen at a time in various sizes and swipes to the left every 5 seconds or so…

It had been by far been one of the best ways for me and my family to view our photos and enjoy them together, however, we no longer pay for Amazon Prime so we lost the ability to have updated photos be a part of the stream.

I was hoping that I might be able to do it with my NAS with Plex but it seems that it’s not a feature. Pretty disappointed :frowning:

There is a bug with the slideshow on Android devices (unsure about iOS), looks like anything that is using the mobile app has the issue.

When you select shuffle or play on a photo album it sits on one photo but when you cast it to another device it shows the slideshow but is still stuck on that one photo on the original device. Just needs a quick fix so the slideshow does not pause on the original device. Hope that Plex can sort this out and fix it so I can go back to showing slideshows on my tablet and other devices!!!

I have the same problem! All photo slideshow apps are need to be paid if you want to use feature like slidshowing photos via smb connection from NAS. I suffered a lot because of this and there is no any solution! Nightmare!
