I have been a long term user of plex photos - eversince they first introduced it. Since the start I have been asking for one of the most basic features regarding photos - SLIDESHOWS.
Imagine having several hundred/thousand albums, but once you want to show them to your family, you have to actively slide to show the next photo… it’s a no brainer that a slideshow is needed, but it has been down prioritized because of things like news, vr and other features.
Today i moved all my albums to another provider (google photos), and oh boy it’s a joy!! I simply gave up waiting for this essential feature in plex.
I’ll keep my movies/tvshows in plex for now
