So I’ve recently setup plex on my home server and am uploading tons of videos. I also plan to move my DVD and Bluray collection to my server to play from plex. Our TV is an android TV and I don’t want my kids watching R rated or unrated movies. I’d like to be able to safely filter videos for my wife and kids to watch when I’m at work. Is this possible? If not, how would I make a feature request?
You can filter/sort by content rating but sounds like you are asking about restricting a share to only have access to certain ratings.
Since you do not have a PLex Pass you would need to separate out your kids safe movies to a different library. so for your kids account you would only share that library
content restrictions for shares is Plex Pass feature. You can restrict a share to only G,PG movies for example without having to separate into a different library
