For example, I looked for the spot on the Dolby Vision demo disc where the DV black is demonstrated. You can see that the point is much too bright with HDR10 and the screen is not darkened as with DV. With DV, the display is off except for the small area. So the black demo doesn’t really work with HDR10. You can see the difference with the eye and the camera.

In my opinion you can see there that the metadata for HDR10 is “static” because the brightness has been completely set for the video and the spot is too bright.
The TV is on the DV standard picture profile without any changes. The same with the HDR mode … standard without changes. Local dimming is set to Medium in the standard profiles.
I would be happy if you would also make such comparisons. @TobyX and I at least want to know that. But currently it looks like DVDFab has found a way. I don’t care if it’s “real” or “fake”.
