So i did use the old Sync feature years ago on a different server altogether, it was kinda buggy and slow but ultimately it worked for me.
Situation now is that i downloaded the first album NO PROBLEM, then i queued 10 more albums and the first one got about halfway through and just failed. The “tap to retry, swipe to cancel” message with no other details. I’ve had download quality set to 320, and now i tried to set it to original, deleted all the downloads, restarted server, restarted (forcefully) the android app.
Tried again and it cant finish up at all. I can se it download the individual tracks and then fail, and when i retry it does it from track 1 again to the last track and then fail.
On top of all of this the interface on my phone is screwed, there are so many visual bugs and irritating design decisions im about to throw my phone out of the window.
I feel like every time i want to use a new plex feature i haven’t used before it all just fails.
This is horribly frustrating as im going on vacation tomorrow and just wanted to sync some music to my phone.
Sometimes i wonder why i even bother with plex for this. I could copy the music over myself and just play it in a simple player.
