How this isn’t a thing I am not sure. All of my 4K media is “optimized” for mobile. Instead of re-transcoding a giant movie why can’t I just download the optimized version? Needs to be a thing.
There’s already an existing feature suggestion discussing an option to download a specific version of a movie, namely an optimized version that’s compatible with the device. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
