It seems to be possible from the web client (?), but unfortunately this isn’t useable in non-jailbroken iOS devices. Therefore it would be great if the download option was available directly within the iOS app.

Can any of the devs comment if this would be any different than what 3rd party clients such as Klexi use?
I’ve used that app to try it but the content has to transcode first, on my Mini that seemed to take around the same time it would to watch the show (which makes sense)
Maybe it would be better with more RAM, but for me, I found downloading the source content using FTP or SMB with in an iOS app that could handle those files (mkv, xvid) was a faster solution, though not as elegant
Not really, it should take as long as the Mini takes to transcode it, ie its CPU limited, on my i7 it takes around 2-3 minutes for a 40-50 minute show.
