The latest downloads feature is realy bad. it is the worst i have seen so far. there is no structure and no sync with library.
Downloads should work seamlesly with library.
In normal view there should be an icon on episode to show that it is downloaded.
also a filter to show only downloaded contens when on the go.
On mobile, Downloads should be the featured section
Many many many many times over the years when i’m on the go i have not been able to play what i have synced/downloaded to my device.
And now with the latest download implementation i can not keep track of what i have watched and not. not even the sort is logical.
Also, when downloading, android keeps saying the app has crashed, restart or wait.
but if i press wait it keeps downloading. and after a while and countless presses on wait. the files are actualy downloaded.
It seems like the focus for plex has shifted from beeing the best media manager/player to someone trying to push useless features to the users. live tv, on demand, lists and that other crap.
Someone needs to pull back their sleaves and do a proper cleanup and implementation of downloads that works like it should.
