What type problem are you seeing?

I look you your logs and I see it playing. Yes, it is transcoding but it is transcoding fast enough (speed = 1.1 -> 1.3 which is enough )

I do see a problem with subtitles and file analysis. PMS doesn’t know what’s happening in the file

I run plex on windows 10 and got this problem. I send you the log file and video recording in rar file.

Your log files are from PMS running on Synology . How is Windows involved?

I means run plex client on windows 10 . Now I run Plex client on android box to Samsung TV.

I looked at the input file. You’re running AAC audio with ok video. PMS is having to make a conversion to send to the ChromeCast (remux). Because you can’t use the hardware acceleration yet, the CPU alone isn’t fast enough.

Can you hover over the movie with your mouse, click ‘Get Info’ -> ‘View XML’ and show me that info?

The reason you’re having problems are because this subtitle track is forced.

This mandates the transcoder start. Your CPU doesn’t have the power to process VOBSUB (image format which must be re-encoded into the video stream) and still keep up with real-time playback requirement . It does as much as it can, as fast as it can, but it’s not enough.

The CPU in your NAS is capable of hardware transcoding to help with this but without a Plex Pass, it’s unavailable to you.

Should you decide to to subscribe as a trial (one month), do the following if you didn’t download Plex from plex.tv/downloads.

  1. Stop Plex
  2. Uninstall the package (Your library will be safe)
  3. Download the 64 bit package for Synology
  4. Perform a ‘Manual Install’ in Package Center
  5. Settings - Server - General - sign out and then sign the server back in . This activates your Plex Pass.
  6. Play the movie again and enjoy
