DS220+ with Hardware Acceleration and transcoding with .ass subtitles causes the stream to crash

The main issue I have are on my Samsung TV and my Xiaomi Mi TV stick.
When watching on plex windows version, it supports the subtitles natively and direct plays.
If I want to use the subtitles on my tv it transcodes because it’s not supported which is fine.
But, the server fails to transcode it and I read similar topics and it might be because of the hardware acceleration enabled.
When I select to burn “Only image formats” it runs fine but I want the fancy subtitles.
I’m wondering if there’s a fix for this, do I need to downgrade server/drivers because I’m really want to use the subtitles.
The CPU model is: Intel Celeron J4025
If you need any more info I’ll send it.
Thanks!

If you want fancy subtitles == Image subtitles , they must be burned.
There is no way around this because no TV’s support overlaying image subtitles on main image. That function is performed by the disc player in hardware.

Thanks, I know that, but the problem is it wont transcode, it starts buffering for 10-20 seconds and the stream crashes.

may I see the DEBUG logs (not VERBOSE) which capture this happening?

Here is the zip file I made.
One thing I noticed is the CPU is exactly at 50% while trying to buffer/transcode.
And sometimes it wont crash but it will buffer 1 minute for 2 seconds of playtime.
