Hello everyone,
I will need some ideas in order to solve my problem. Here is my settings :
- Synology ds415play with dsm-5.2 version for PMS 0.9.11.16
- Rasplex with 0.6.0 version
- Audio go through my HDMI wire connected to my TV and my TV is connected to my 5.1 sound system through optical wire.
Tonight I wanted to watch a new movie with DTS audio and the result is no more audio for any video with DTS. I recently watched a lot of TV serie but the audio are in AC3 or ACC and no issue with it.
I have reinstalled from scratch both PMS on my synology and Rasplex on my RPi and I still have the issue. How can I enable debug and try to figure out the reason of this weird behavior ?
I don’t remenber the last time I have watched a movie with DTS audio. Could it be a licensing issue ?
When I play the same movie on my android device I have sound. Same result on my xbox one plex application (the movies are laggy on theses devices which is why I watch them on my Rasplex).

Trying using the search (top right of the forum) there are several topics already regarding this issue this is one of them

The problem lies with the TV. All mine can passthrough ac3 fine, but only one can send dts out optical (it's also the only one that labels the optical option as "passthrough" vs "Dolby"). It works as expected with a hdmi receiver as well.
Have you enabled DTS pass through?
Yes I have enabled this. Unfornetly, The issue is still here. I will try to go back to 0.5.1. The dts was working before but I am not sure what I have done exactly that "upset" my multimedia installation.
