Can I please request when we filter by Duplicates, instead of just showing the episodes name or movie name, the view should also show the related files under each episode or movie. Right now we have to click get info and then we can see related files which makes this such a tedious process at times.
The end result is, we can see all duplicate episodes/ movies and make the selection right on this screen and determine which file we want to delete or make multiple selections easily and bulk delete.
I suppose what you describe is a new and quite separate view (no longer just a filter of the current library display mode).
Have you considered using a 3rd party app like WebTools-NG for that kind of analysis / troubleshooting? I’m wondering how common of a use case this will be to add yet another display mode to Plex (not judging or diminishing… just wondering)
Webtools NG is running on Windows.
It can export a CSV file of a library.
You load this into a spreadsheet app and sort it by movie title. That way you can easily spot duplicates and also decide which to keep as you are able to include pretty much any minute detail about the files into the CSV file. (bitrates, codecs, languages of audio and subtitles etc.pp.)
But that is not what I requested… I don’t need an export of a file showing me duplicates. I need an easy way to delete duplicates. I can already easily see the duplicates.
