Here is my directory structure for my Media:
Movies
|–>MovieCollectionA
|–>MovieCollectionB
I have one Library setup called AllMovies to point to Movies thereby seeing both MovieCollectionA and MovieCollectionB. I have another Library setup LimitedMovies that points to MovieCollectionA.
The issue is that I access Plex from my admin account on all my devices at home. The admin account has both libraries assigned to it (and can’t seem to configure this differently either). When I go into to the Home screen on the Admin users the On Deck, Recently Added Library, etc show duplicates because it’s showing both libraries. Users that only see one library do not have this issue. Because I use the Admin login, there is no way I can see to remove the LimitedMovies library. I could set one of the libraries to not display on the Home screen, but then it affects all users ability to see the On Deck, Recently Added, etc and I don’t really want to do that. I could also create a non-admin login and use that, but then I lose all of the played/unplayed tracking for all the items I have watched.
It seems the issue is that it would be great to be able to set, at the user level, which libraries are shown on the user’s Home screen. Another solution would be to allow the Admin user to be able to configure which libraries they want included on their account, like is available for all other users.
Can anyone see a better solution?
