Still confused by this one … somehow the DVR is storing information that goes away on refresh (i.e. the filename is not sufficient?)? And also, shows that should be grouped together are still showing up separately.

I too am having a similar issue. Every DVR recording creates TWO identical entries in the dashboard in Plex although often with different cover art image. I do have Plex optimization on as well which means that I watch these server perform TWO optimizations as well, one for each file.
FYI, still seeing this - and I’m running 1.7.4 (the latest). It seemed to perhaps go away at one point, but it’s back … :(. Any suggestions? And this is even for only items recorded with the DVR.

BTW, still seeing this … :(. And as well, if I copy a file right over top of itself, same name exactly - I seem to lose the show information inside Plex. Makes no sense to me - any thoughts?
