I record a lot of movies when they are on so I would like to be able to get them priority over repeat airings without missing first runs.
I understand what you are asking but want to make sure you are aware you can change “priority” of recordings by dragging and dropping them above or below others in the “Recording Priority” view which would accomplish the same thing for now but is time consuming and tedious…

I think he means first runs supersede everything then movies then repeats. which u can not do when your playing catchup on repeats of a show showing new eps
Oh yeah sorry mixed between TV/Movies I read that too fast… but yeah that would be nice to be able to prioritize all that.
