DVR and Live TV; quite disappointing

Long time Plex user here; I recently decided to setup DVR and Live TV together with an HDHomerun. Setup went quite smooth but after playing around with the various features I’m a bit disappointed:

  • Lacking information in the EPG for my DVB-C provider, hopefully Gracenote will fix that shortly…
  • Channel names are missing in most of the views on iOS and all of the views in the web client, which makes it difficult to find programs. On top of that the entire program guide navigation is clunky. I get that there might be issues with patents but I think the Plex team can do a much better job at this.

If my perception is incorrect, I’m open for feedback.

Thanks, I had read that, hence my reference to patents. It’s just a shame they released it in this form. I also hope they add channel names to the new view across all clients…
