Wanted to try plex DVR and was going to buy the quad tuner, however, does plex support freeview or only freesat?
Will it be able to provide data to all channels or will the channels be in the wrong order ?
Does plex plan to add a standard epg view ?
At the moment it only officially supports Freeview as there’s no dvb-s tuners supported.
It is possible to get freesat via tvheadend or the enigma2 work that Andy has done.
When I search for channels in my area freeview is not listed ?
I have just bought a HDHomeRun for this. When I link to Plex, DVB-S, Free Sky UK and Freesat are listed, but no matter what UK postcode I put in, I do not see a DVB-T Freeview channel option. It looks like Freeview is currently NOT supported.
Freeview in the UK Is MOST DEFINITELY supported, i have 156 channels in plex from my HDHR Connect.
When i was setting up the DVR in plex freeview is called youview (i assume thats the company that supplies the data)
Ah, excellent, that’s good news. How do I get that to show up in my list then? I only have Sky UK and Freesat when I put in my UK postcode, despite selecting Antenna on the previous page. There’s no YouView option. I have tried multiple UK postcodes, I get the same result. I have HD HomeRun Connect and live just outside London. I think my transmitter is Crystal Palace. The HD HomeRun works fine with its own apps etc.
I seriously just put my postcode in and it worked!
Give ME2 a go, it chose youview for me automagically and mapped my channels
Got it! I was putting in my full postcode, if I only put in the first three, it comes up with a full list - many thanks!

Yes, strange it let me click next. The example it gives is just the first half, so I did miss that. But wouldn’t expect it to allow me to proceed if I had not given a correct entry. Anyway, it’s working now!
