(DVR) How to adjust HW encoding settings for controlling DVR transcode output quality

Player Version#: iOS 8.43

PMS Ver. 1.41.2.9092 states:

  • (DVR) Added additional HW encoding settings for controlling DVR transcode output quality and file size (PM-2169)

I’ve looked through all the settings and checked for different options on scheduled recordings, but cannot find anywhere to adjust the quality and size as described.

How do I take advantage of this new feature? Thank you!

It is on the tuner settings.

Temper your expectations, depending on how many tuners you have and your CPU/GPU you may not have stable recordings.
