DVR Transcoding Hardware Acceleration

I like being able to use hardware acceleration (Quick Sync) for streaming but why isn’t it also used for transcoding DVR recordings?

Yep, same question. I just noticed this last night as I was playing with settings. My GPU doesn’t seem to do that transcoding work.
