This problem actually started in July of 2018 over three years ago when I purchased a lifetime license. The thread is located here: Start Watching Recording in Progress from Beginning(Failing) - #1089 by philly4. Plex closed the thread because it was so old, but don’t be lead to believe that this is a new problem. This is a very old problem that they are unable to fix. Don’t hold your breath, if you want a TV system that always works, try Channels DVR.
