Easy settings transfer between Plex Media Servers (for upgrading)

Lately, I’ve been thinking about upgrading my current Plex Media Server (an Nvidia SHIELD) to a more powerful PC rig, but I noticed that there’s no easy way to transfer my preferences and settings over to a new system, so if I upgraded, I’d basically have to rebuild my server from scratch (adding media, changing covers to my liking, setting TV shows to record, changing server settings, etc). I was wondering if there was any way to add a special code or series of codes that hold these settings. That would make it infinitely easier to upgrade my system.

There is no easy way to transfer from one OS to another. File paths are different. Settings storage areas are different.
However, there is a nice KB that gives basics of what’s needed for same old OS to new oS.

There is unfortunately no way to copy the settings from a nVidia Shield device.
They are stored in a special area of memory where users don’t have access (unless the device is ‘jailbroken’). The “fun” of using Android.
