For this forum, I’ve set up my settings in a way that whenever I start a topic or reply on one, I get an email notification. But some topics don’t interest me anymore and I want to cancel the subscription so that I don’t get any notification anymore. I just can’t find a way to do that. Can somebody help?

How do you mean? So I will keep receiving emails from topics I’m not interested in? That way I can have dozens of emails. That’s called spam.
That’s right, ludicrous really, I receive 60-70 emails each day I don’t want, Plex Inc don’t seen to want to do anything about it.

The forum is a hosted solution provided by Vanilla forums, so we can only use features which are currently available in the software.
Then talk to Vanilla and put a feature request in, this is a complaint in a number of topics.
I must receive at least 20 spurious emails a day from the PlexPy topic as I asked a question, at the moment setting up an email filter and automatically deleting them is the only way to stop being pestered by them.

I’ll ping the guys that work with the forum and see what they can find out from Vanilla. I’m sure this must be on their roadmap as it cannot only be Plex forum members with this problem.
To me this seems a basic “feature” of any forum and would be a thing to not choose that piece of software.
Hopefully something comes out of it.
Oh and while you’re at it, maybe you can also ask to make another change? Now we receive a mail per reply. Maybe they can make it a mail per topic. If there are 10 replies, now I receive 10 mails. 1 would be sufficient.
I thought I was stupid for not finding the unsub button. This is ridiculous.
Well at least I know it’s not just me. This was possible in the old forum system; why wasn’t it a requirement for the new one?

Just go into your settings and turn off emails for virtually everything. I only get emails for PMs and I get few of those, mostly.

Yep, and then if you want to receive an email when new posts go in a single topic of interest just click that little ‘Star’ above and to the right of the first post to ‘Bookmark’ it. Enable the emails for replies to Bookmarked messages and that’s about it. If you don’t Bookmark a message you’ll never get any emails.
I too get PMs… and Bookmarks… I hardly see one.
