I use chapter markers for commercials with the Plex DVR. Some clients allow me to skip the commercials via the markers, some completely ignore them (thankfully my LG tv app supports chapter skip). Please enable Chapter skip on ALL Plex clients.
@jnbarlow Do you have an automated process to convert comskip/showanalyser EDL files to chapter markers?

It runs a post processing script that adds files to a queue to be processed by cron at midnight. Sometimes it gets stuck and you have to copy the contents of the processing file to the ondeck file and remove the processing file, but it works pretty well. Converts the .ts files to an h.264 mkv with chapter markers for commercials.
If you use it let me know what you think or if you run into any problems. As always things “work on my machine” but may not work elsewhere
