Ok, so I thought this would be possible, but it isn’t for some reason.
I have Plex Pass, and someone shared their server with me.
One of the main reasons I got Plex Pass was for the “users” functionality. So I created users.
My problem is, if I can’t access these shared servers in different users, it’s not really useful for me, since a lot of stuff is in these servers, and I just don’t want my family to each create a different account, than each server that shared with me to share with everyone, and so on. Also to log off the tv from one account to log on the other and so on… The kinds of issues that the “user” functionality solved for me.
As I said, this is one of the main reasons I got Plex Pass, for the users, but not being able to let non-main users access shared servers makes this pointless for me at least.
It shouldn’t be a complicated fix, since my account already has access to the server, so I’d really appreciate a fix.
Shared Server only on Main User (PlexPass) - this is where I saw someone else trying and failing.
