Enhanced player not respecting Apple TV caption settings

I’ve noticed that while enhanced player is enabled, “text edge style” is not doing anything.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a custom subtitles style in accessibility settings of your Apple TV
  2. Choose “Depressed” as text edge style
  3. Put on some media with subtitles and notice that the depressed effect is not present
  4. Disable enhanced player
  5. Put on media again, depressed effect is present.
