I was thumbing through the EPG displayed by my local PMS server, and noted a show (A Chef’s Life, S5 E6, Bourbon County) that caught my interest. I clicked through the record show button and scheduled a recording that was scheduled to start about 40-45 minutes after I scheduled. As soon as the dialog box cleared, the screen refreshed. Now, instead of displaying data for 2 shows between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, I’m now getting Unknown Airing display (recording scheduled to start at 6:30 PM.) I’ve refreshed the EPG, and restarted PMS, no change in behavior. What is going on? This seems more than a little odd. The recording is scheduled in the DVR Schedule, so I’m hoping it records appropriately.

This just got stranger… I selected the channel to play in the webapp, and the background flashed for Lydia’s Kitchen, the show that’s being broadcast at 6:00 PM. Obviously, PMS does have some knowledge of the EPG, but isn’t displaying it in the EPG grid.

Roku client displayed the EPG just fine… went back to the webapp page (which is customarily open on my laptop, also OpenSuSE 16.3 64bit Chrome) still no dice. F5 page refresh… now it’s displaying. Webapp display issue? (retagging…)

I started getting same thing. Though it only happed after I completely delete my Plugin Support directory due to having a corrupt database. (couldn’t repair with any standard method, Plex backups had not been working for more then a year) From a fresh install the first thing add back was my DVR. Even after waiting for a refresh to complete the What’s on section is empty. in the EPG it seems to know what the time slots are but no metadata populated. I’m at version 1.29.2.6364
