Channels with "unknown airing" EPG do not show in apps

On previous versions of PMS, some channels would not be displayed in the Guide. Forcing a ‘Refresh Guide’ would trigger Plex to display the missing channels, which I had to do often.

But now since the previous version 1.21.2.3939, and the current 1.21.2.3943, there’s a worse issue; when EPG for a channel has ‘unknown airing’, Plex will omit the channel from apps. They appear fine on Plex Web and localhost.

On the apps, I have done a Force Stop and cleared cache. Even went as far as reinstalling. I have also recreated the DVR, as well as the usual refresh of the guide.

Anyone else with this issue? I searched the forum, and the only time someone had this issue was with Daylight Savings.

I’m having the same issue using xteve. Sometimes, some channels are missing epg data from my provider… and when that happens they will only show in plex web guide as “unknown airing”. The channels still play fine. But they don’t show at all in the guide on any plex client app other then in the web browser… this has to be a bug. And it’s been like this for years. Quite unfortunate… one workaround is to play the channel in the web browser and then it will show in the recent channels in the plex client apps as “unknown airing” but you can at least play it (I use iOS)

Please fix this plex!
