EPG fails to update with JSON parse error

Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I just noticed that the other thread i posted to was marked as answered. It didn’t really seem answered as the solution was a workaround. (remove/add the DVR)

The EPG has run out of data and will not update. The update seems to start, but then stops at 0%.

The channel lineup hasn’t changed and I’ve checked there are no music stations selected. Tried removing the first station that errors out on. But the error just moves to the next station. Have not had EPG update problems in a long time. Updated to 1.11.2.4772 with no effect.

Had to delete DVR and re-add it. It downloaded the EPG for two weeks. Doesn’t appear to be refreshing it again. Looks like I’ll have to rinse/repeat this weekend. Is this being worked on?

Same issue here - this is the third time I’ve had to re-add.

Havok115 quoted a solution from another thread that involves deleting the EPG database files to force an update.

Worked for me and at least now I don’t have to re-do the channel lineups.

Maybe I missed it, but is there an official response to this problem yet?
