I’m on Android TV and I’m seeing an unwatched count on posters with multiple episodes that are unwatched, but single unwatched episodes have no indication, nor do watched episodes.
In this current state, single unwatched episodes and watched episodes look the same. Is this a feature or a bug?
Can you provide the Plex app version your running on your Android TV, which Watched Indicator setting you selected, and maybe a picture of what you’re seeing. Anything else specific about where/how you’re seeing this? Folder view, recently watched content, etc?
If I’m understanding your observations, you should be seeing a watched badge on any watched episodes. A picture would be helpful.

Okay, confirmed this is a bug now because it’s not consistent. I still had no “watched indicators” 5 minutes ago. I connected ADB to take a screenshot for you and then I stopped by the Play Store to make sure the Plex app doesn’t have a update waiting. It was already up to date. I open Plex back up to take my screenshot for you and now it has the check marks on watched episodes.
It was in the list, “Recently Added in TV Shows” on the Plex home screen. It was showing a count on posters that had multiple unwatched episodes, nothing on watched or unwatched singles. I didn’t force close the app, it just randomly decided to give me check marks right before my screenshot.
“which Watched Indicator setting you selected” I’ve never changed this from default and I couldn’t find it in settings.
App version 10.18.0.968
Maybe opening the Play store used enough resources that Android stopped the Plex app in the background? I will report back with a screenshot when it happens again.
