ERROR - [FFMPEG] - No VA display found for device: /dev/dri/renderD128 Cannot load libcuda.so.1

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to resolve the below? Plex keeps randomly dying and I have to kill it and restart it to get it to respond again. I am using Centos6

I have attached logs as well.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

You’ll be far better off with Centos 7. I cannot even create a Centos 6.8 in VM anymore.
From the Fedora perspective. Only Fedora 26 and above are officially recognized as meeting the OS minimums for HW transcoding (udev)

I really don’t wanna move to 7 since it would require me reinstalling. I have just over 14TB of content on this server.

Are all you media stored in a non-preservable FS?

When I install, I can opt to preserve or reformat particular drives/partitions.

There is a finite list of files you need to keep to preserve the server’s identity. Hosts, hostname, passwd, and fstab are the first four to grab and the rest dependent on domain and/or certs as appropriate.

Had the same error on Ubuntu. Disabled Hardware-Accelerated transcoding and that seemed to solve the problem… No idea why though.
